Usher believes his life is in jeopardy cause he’s being stalked by a dangerous delusional woman who is convinced she’s MARRIED to the pop star.
Usher has obtained a temporary restraining order against 26-year-old Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw.
According to court docs, Usher claims Darshelle showed up uninvited to his Georgia home on June 23 with the intention of harassing him and his family.
Sources close to Usher say she pounded on his front door and demanded to be let in.
Cops were called to the scene and warned Darshelle to stay away from the property and told her not to come back.
She left but not for long.
Usher says she returned the very next day.
Cops were once again called to the scene and Darshelle tried to convince the officers she was Usher’s wife and had simply misplaced her keys.
Cops didn’t buy the story and placed Darshelle under arrest.
Usher immediately obtained a temporary restraining order, claiming Darshelle “placed [him] in reasonable fear for his own safety and/or the safety of his immediate family.”
Usher is hoping to make that order more permanent during a hearing next month.
Darshelle’s posted a YouTube video Wednesday, claiming Usher has been secretly funneling her cash since last year, promising to make living arrangements for her and to help with her music career.
In the video, Darshelle insists, “I’m not a stalker … [Usher] has officially slandered me and defamed my character.” She says she plans to file defamation charges against Usher soon.
Usher‘s ex-wife Tameka Raymond and Usher’s mother Jonetta Patton have been on good terms.
When Usher decided to marry Tameka, he and his mother’s relationship took a blow and according to new sources so did Tameka!
In 2010, Tameka and Jonetta got into a disagreement over the children which allegedly resulted in Tameka getting knocked out by the 55-year-old, In Touch Weekly reports.
Tameka and usher are currently going through a bitter custody battle!
Usher is insisting he’s a good dad who deserves to see his kids, and that he never cancelled Tameka Raymond’s Saks 5th Avenue credit card.
She asked a Georgia court last month for full custody of their two kids, claiming Usher has continually dropped the ball as a parent … failing to get her permission to travel with their kids, hiring nannies without her approval … the list goes on.
Tameka also claimed Usher callously closed her Saks 5th Avenue credit card — and now she can’t take advantage of the “special benefits” the card offers.
But Usher claims it’s all BS — filing his own response in the ongoing custody battle … asking a judge to reject Tameka’s request for full custody, on grounds her allegations are false.
Usher and Tameka currently share joint physical custody of the kids.
It has been previously reported, Tameka has also tried numerous times to get the judge to force Usher to submit to a drug test. So far, no luck.
